El documental Antártida — Dominio Uno se suma a los esfuerzos existentes por visibilizar la importancia ecológica del Dominio 1 y la necesidad de avanzar hacia su protección.
At Marejada, we support this initiative by adding our voice and helping spread its message so that more people learn about and support this conservation effort. Our work aims to ensure that the discussion does not remain on the screen, but translates into concrete advances in conservation, replicating the Mitre Peninsula model with a petition that accompanies this effort.

The launch of the documentary will be accompanied by an installation of a two-meter-tall ice block with one of the surfboards used in the expedition inside, a visual metaphor for the melting glaciers and the fragility of the Antarctic ecosystem. Next to the ice block, there will be a QR code so people can scan it, watch the documentary for free, and sign the petition to help create the marine protected area in Domain 1.
